About the Role
You will own and evolve Android architecture, modular boundaries, and native engineering patterns. You will turn complex product and platform needs into durable production designs, improve testing, observability, rollout, and validation practices, and define clear mobile-facing contracts with iOS, backend, product, and design partners. You will also establish reusable standards that strengthen engineering judgment and native product quality across teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in modern production Android architecture and setting technical standards.
- Ability to apply Android platform principles and iOS fluency to cross-functional architecture decisions.
- Experience shaping mobile-facing platform contracts, API behavior, or backend service boundaries.
- Ability to read, debug, and make targeted backend contributions.
- Experience shaping AI-enabled engineering systems for validation, product quality, and delivery confidence.
- Strong judgment in mobile reliability and release quality.
- Experience creating reusable patterns and technical standards for other engineers.
- Excellent product judgment and communication skills.
