About the Role

Serve as a senior technical leader across infrastructure scale-out, performance and reliability, platform prototyping, customer-facing development, architectural migrations, cross-functional initiatives, AI-powered tooling, and engineering mentorship.

Requirements

10+ years of software development experience
Significant experience at staff level or above
Distributed systems at scale
Sharding, replication, consensus, load balancing, and concurrency
On-premises infrastructure
Rapid prototyping
AI tools
Performance benchmarking and profiling
Customer-facing on-call experience
Product scoping
Cross-functional technical influence
Go or another modern compiled language

Responsibilities

Design automation for data center and server bring-up
Investigate performance and reliability issues
Establish platform-wide benchmarks
Build prototypes for new platform capabilities
Develop customer-facing platform functionality
Evaluate architectural migrations
Drive cross-functional infrastructure initiatives
Build AI-powered tools and frameworks
Coach senior engineers
