Epoch AI investigates the trajectory of artificial intelligence by tracking drivers and bottlenecks, measuring model capabilities, and forecasting AI’s impacts. It operates public datasets and benchmarking work, and also provides commissioned research, model evaluations, and consultations.

About the Role
Support research programs and new initiatives by managing complex logistics. Coordinate external experts and contractors, support data licensing and compliance, organize events, manage external communications, and handle operational details that help projects run smoothly.
Requirements
- Follow AI developments
- Break complex challenges into manageable steps and develop creative solutions
- Incorporate feedback and provide constructive feedback
- Have two or more years of experience in roles with many moving parts
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate professional-level English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Coordinate external experts and contractors and ensure their contributions meet quality standards
- Support data projects by securing and licensing data and maintaining compliance
- Organize events and symposiums
- Manage external communications channels by responding to or triaging queries
- Provide operational support for new research initiatives and complex logistics
