About the Role
You will define the technical architecture for integrating autonomous-driving software with OEM and Tier 1 vehicle systems. You will document interfaces, ownership boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, and integration requirements; assess feasibility; coordinate validation needs; identify risks; and represent technical architecture in customer discussions.
Requirements
- Experience with ADAS, autonomous driving, embedded software, or vehicle-system architecture
- Ability to define technical boundaries, ownership models, dependencies, and interface contracts
- Understanding of vehicle electronics, embedded software, ECU integration, real-time execution, timing, and diagnostics
- Knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, or AUTOSAR
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
- Ability to create technical specifications and validation-ready requirements
- Cross-functional experience across product, software, hardware, safety, validation, and customer-facing teams
- Technical communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define and manage technical architecture for customer vehicle integration
- Translate product and customer needs into technical specifications
- Define and document integration boundaries with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Assess feasibility with Software Architects
- Define integration test requirements with Validation Engineers
- Maintain interface specifications, integration guides, architecture diagrams, and decision records
- Identify integration complexity, dependencies, risks, and partner deliverables
- Represent product architecture in OEM and Tier 1 technical discussions
- Bridge customer programs and internal teams
