About the Role
You will own firmware architecture, implementation, integration, and production for wearable and robot systems. You will develop host-side systems software, embedded communications, OTA, and diagnostics infrastructure. You will work with electrical engineers to bring up hardware and solve cross-functional hardware and software problems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of real-time embedded software development
- Experience with architecture design, MCU selection, driver development, and RTOSes
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust
- Experience with debugging, instrumentation, and performance optimization
- Ability to read and understand board schematics and layouts
- Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, CAN FD, or Ethernet
Responsibilities
- Own firmware from architecture and implementation through integration and production
- Write host-side systems software between firmware and higher-level software
- Develop embedded communications, OTA, and diagnostics infrastructure
- Design and bring up new hardware with the electrical engineering team
- Solve problems across hardware, firmware, embedded Linux, and higher-level software
