About the Role
You will lead the Admin Console engineering team and set its technical direction. You will own architecture and delivery for administration workflows, including data-source setup, security configuration, deployment management, and feature controls. You will partner with product, design, backend, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to improve self-service activation and deployment visibility.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building production distributed systems or cloud-native applications
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, Java, C++, or JavaScript
- Experience building enterprise SaaS, enterprise platforms, admin consoles, or configurable product experiences
- Experience with usability, governance, permissions, and technical complexity
- Experience mentoring frontend and backend engineers
- Ability to shape roadmap, architecture, and execution in an ambiguous environment
- Cross-functional collaboration with product, design, security, and platform teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Admin Console engineering team
- Own architecture and execution for core admin-facing workflows
- Partner with Product and Design to simplify enterprise workflows
- Evolve the Admin Console into a broader enterprise control plane
- Improve self-service activation
- Improve visibility into crawl health, connector status, indexing progress, permissions, and rollout readiness
- Build systems that help administrators safely scale deployments
- Collaborate with backend, connector, infrastructure, and security teams
