About the Role
You will build search infrastructure for real-time indexing, serving, and data pipelines. You will work on indexing, query execution, and relevance, then operate services through monitoring, debugging, incident response, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems, or experience with storage or hardware architecture
- High-performance Rust, C++, or JVM-based languages
- Search and indexing technologies such as Elasticsearch or Lucene
- Operating system internals, filesystems, networking, or database storage engines
Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale search infrastructure, indexing, serving, and data pipelines
- Shape the technical direction of search indexing, query execution, and relevance
- Operate production services through monitoring, debugging, incident response, and optimization
- Lead incident response and recovery
- Contribute to incident postmortems
