About the Role
You will design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database components and Python-based data processing and ETL solutions. You will troubleshoot production data issues, implement data warehousing and dimensional modeling solutions, maintain data lineage and mappings, improve automation and performance, and support incidents, releases, and change activities while meeting security and AML requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of SQL Server development experience, including database design and performance tuning
- Production troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on Python experience for ETL, data processing, and automation
- Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data architecture
- C#/.NET and Visual Studio experience is an asset
- Shell scripting experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database components
- Troubleshoot data-related issues across queries, ETL processes, and production environments
- Develop Python solutions for data processing, automation, and ETL workflows
- Architect and implement ETL solutions with staging layers and transformations
- Apply data warehousing concepts and multidimensional data modeling
- Maintain source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and integration standards
- Identify automation, performance optimization, and process improvement opportunities
- Ensure deliverables meet technology, security, regulatory, and AML requirements
- Contribute to production incidents, releases, and change management activities
