About the Role
You will design, build, and ship full-stack web features, from backend services and APIs to production-quality frontend interfaces. You will rapidly prototype with emerging model capabilities, turn product ideas into live experiences, work with researchers and design partners, and own the technical architecture as products mature.
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of frontend and backend systems.
- Experience shipping production web applications end to end, from data models and API design through user-facing interfaces.
- Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Experience making pragmatic technical tradeoffs to move quickly while managing risk.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features across web applications.
- Prototype rapidly with emerging model capabilities.
- Take product ideas from rough concepts to live user experiences and iterate on feedback.
- Partner with researchers to translate model behavior and capabilities into product decisions.
- Work with design and product partners to define what to build.
- Own technical architecture, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Help establish engineering practices and technical standards.
