About the Role
You build and operate backend systems for fiat and stablecoin payment flows and a Public API supporting deposits, payouts, swaps, and settlement. You collaborate on requirements and product delivery, write tested and maintainable code, maintain system reliability through monitoring and stress testing, contribute to scalable financial system architecture, support merchant integrations and investigations, and integrate backend services with frontend systems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend engineering experience
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails Golang or related backend technologies
- Strong SQL and relational database design skills
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Understanding of system design and scalability
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Git
- Written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Build backend features for fiat and stablecoin payment flows
- Develop the Public API for deposits payouts swaps and settlement
- Collaborate with product managers on requirements and roadmap delivery
- Write clean tested and maintainable code
- Monitor and maintain system availability and reliability
- Conduct stress testing and maintenance
- Contribute to architecture decisions and scalable system design
- Participate in code reviews backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Support merchant integrations and L2 investigations
- Integrate backend services with frontend systems
