About the Role
You will design, implement, test, and debug software that improves system performance, reliability, scalability, and observability. You will work across low-level infrastructure, hardware interfaces, networking, distributed systems, compilers, and ML frameworks. You will also participate in system bring-up and performance optimization activities.
Requirements
- Recently graduated or currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related university program graduating in 2026
- Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++
- Have interest or exposure to systems programming, socket programming, networking, embedded systems, operating systems, device drivers, distributed systems, or network performance
- Be willing to work closely with hardware and networking systems and learn low-level engineering concepts
- Demonstrate communication and collaboration skills
- Be based in Toronto, Ontario, or Sunnyvale, California for a hybrid role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on systems and infrastructure challenges
- Design, implement, test, and debug software solutions
- Contribute to low-level software components that interact with hardware and networking infrastructure
- Contribute across layers of an AI-accelerated platform
- Participate in debugging, performance optimization, and system bring-up
- Develop tools and infrastructure for observability, reliability, and scalability
- Work with hardware, firmware, compiler, and infrastructure functions
