About the Role
You will own reliability practices across web, cloud, mobile, on-robot, and embedded software. You will build integrated end-to-end testing, measure robot health and movement, investigate reliability issues, and help establish reliability standards across software systems.
Requirements
- Software engineering depth in cloud and backend, systems, or embedded software
- Experience building test and reliability infrastructure or distributed systems at scale
- DevOps, Linux, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code skills
- Python proficiency and proficiency in at least one systems language
- Statistical and probabilistic skills
- Experience building products from zero to one and from one to production
- SRE practices including SLOs and error budgets
- Fleet observability and monitoring
- Hardware-in-the-loop and on-robot testing
- Simulation testing
- IoT, HPC, cloud, or embedded experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver integrated testing across web, cloud, mobile, on-robot, and embedded systems
- Own end-to-end testing from developer tests through robot movement
- Measure robot movement, actions, and health
- Triage reliability issues and route them to the appropriate software or hardware team
- Establish software reliability practices for internal teams and external customers
