About the Role
Own and expand Mission Control, Polymarket's operational systems platform. Build market automation pipelines, ship end-to-end features, work across APIs, dashboards, workflows, and frontend and backend systems, and partner with operations teams to gather feedback and iterate quickly.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience building full-stack web applications.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS.
- Experience with React and Node.js.
- Customer empathy and ability to understand team needs.
- Ability to ship quickly and iterate based on feedback.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple systems, and stakeholders.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for blockchain, decentralized finance, and freedom of speech.
- Experience in an embedded or field engineering role working alongside product or operations teams.
- Experience with workflow automation or deployment pipelines.
- Background in fintech, crypto, or data-heavy applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Own and expand Mission Control.
- Build and evolve operational systems supporting markets, content, and growth.
- Design and implement automation pipelines for researching, structuring, deploying, and managing markets.
- Deliver features and improvements from concept through production.
- Build and maintain APIs, dashboards, and workflows.
- Develop frontend and backend code.
- Partner with operations teams to understand workflows, gather feedback, and iterate.
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable code.
- Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
