About the Role
You will build web frontends, backend services and APIs in TypeScript for rapid prototypes and production platforms. You will contribute to technical design decisions, write tested, documented and secure code, review colleagues’ work, and deploy services using CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and Azure. You will work with designers, researchers, product owners and client stakeholders to turn requirements into working software.
Requirements
- Professional frontend and backend software development experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React
- Experience building backend services and APIs backed by databases
- Experience with agile delivery, source control, code review and automated testing
- Exposure to CI/CD and Docker containers
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Interest in generative AI tooling and digital twins
- Successful completion of BPSS clearance before starting employment
Responsibilities
- Build web frontends, backend services and APIs in TypeScript
- Contribute to design and technical decisions

- Review colleagues' code
