About the Role
You will build and maintain a Linux-based operating system for a supercomputer network fabric. You will develop high-performance device drivers, deploy and debug the production platform, resolve anomalies, improve observability and configuration management, and bring up operating-system software on new hardware.
Requirements
- Systems programming experience in C or C++
- Operating systems knowledge including scheduling, memory management, and I/O
- Understanding of host networking, switches, and routers
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high-reliability Linux-based operating system
- Write or rewrite high-performance device drivers
- Manage deployment, operation, and debugging of the production platform
- Resolve and root-cause anomalies to improve reliability
- Improve observability and configuration-management tools
- Collaborate on next-generation hardware design and bring up the operating system and software stack
