About the Role
You will work on a critical project for high-performance trading systems. You will define project scope, requirements, and milestones; prepare design documentation; and participate in architectural discussions. You will build Go features for the Order Management System, add analytics and metrics, incorporate feedback, and demonstrate progress through regular demos.
Requirements
- Be a Class of 2028 student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Be proficient in Go, C++, Java, or another compiled language
- Have completed at least one backend-systems internship in a production environment
- Know relational databases such as Postgres
- Have strong communication skills and convey technical concepts clearly
- Work autonomously and collaboratively
- Manage tasks autonomously
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Trading team to define project scope, requirements, and milestones
- Prepare design documentation and participate in architectural discussions
- Build Go features for the Order Management System
- Add analytics and metrics to measure the impact of changes
- Incorporate feedback and iterate based on team input
- Demonstrate project progress through regular demos
