About the Role
You will help make a cloud container registry fast, reliable and observable at scale. You will own registry components and features across design, implementation, testing, rollout and operation, solve cloud infrastructure problems, build reliable observable software and improve the safety and efficiency of running systems.
Requirements
- Understanding of fault-tolerant distributed systems under high load
- Experience contributing to distributed services in production
- Hands-on experience profiling and benchmarking systems
- Strong fundamentals in microservices and cloud-native infrastructure
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
- Experience with Go, Rust, Java or C++
- 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
- Interest in mentoring new teammates and engineers
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and own components of the managed container registry
- Own features across design, implementation, testing, rollout and operation
- Solve challenges involved in building a cloud provider
- Write sustainable software with built-in observability
- Identify opportunities to make systems easier, safer and faster to run
