About the Role
You will build and maintain backend services, APIs, and event-driven data systems for blockchain risk screening, continuous monitoring, and risk aggregation. You will own scoped improvements through production support, improve reliability and observability, collaborate on requirements, and help modernize services through safe migrations.
Requirements
- Use AI-assisted development tools while verifying and improving generated output
- Build and maintain production backend services, APIs, and database integrations
- Use an object-oriented programming language
- Develop cloud-based services and understand microservices and distributed systems
- Use SQL and relational databases, including data modeling and queries
- Understand event-driven architectures, failures, retries, duplicate events, and data correctness
- Deliver well-tested code and diagnose issues
- Communicate clearly and collaborate with engineering and Product partners
- Demonstrate interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies or eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for transfer and withdrawal screening, continuous monitoring, and risk aggregation
- Develop event-driven data ingestion and processing systems
- Own scoped features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
- Improve existing services and deliver incremental migrations with safe rollouts
- Clarify requirements and deliver customer-focused changes with Product and engineering partners
- Improve automated tests, monitoring, and documentation
- Review code, debug production issues, and contribute to incident response and postmortems
