About the Role

You will build and scale the platform infrastructure that supports robotic deployments locally and in the cloud. You will automate AWS infrastructure, manage over-the-air software deployments, improve identity and access systems, implement observability and incident tooling, and work with product engineers to support fleet and application needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in production support, development, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including reusable code and automated testing.
  • Proficiency managing AWS cloud environments and multi-account deployments.
  • Experience with or strong interest in remote robotics tools such as Foxglove or Rerun.
  • Experience with enterprise authentication and authorization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed issues and automate manual tasks.
  • Ability to comply with applicable U.S. export control regulations where required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale configuration management processes for the robotic fleet.
  • Automate complex infrastructure processes, including AWS account management and deployments.
  • Design and maintain over-the-air software deployment systems.
  • Support the migration and management of enterprise authentication and authorization for internal and external applications.
  • Implement and improve robotics observability tooling for robot-to-cloud integration and monitoring.
  • Develop automated incident reporting and escalation tooling.
  • Work with product engineers to ensure the platform supports fleet and application needs.
