About the Role

You will own secure code integration through build, testing, release, and deployment. You will build hardened CI/CD pipelines, integrate security controls, enforce promotion gates, automate compliance evidence, support classified deployments, and help developers remediate findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Minimum 5 years of software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or security engineering experience
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II Security+ certification
  • Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting language

Responsibilities

  • Own secure code integration across the software delivery lifecycle
  • Support software integration and deployment on government and customer systems
  • Build secure CI/CD pipelines, templates, and hardened build environments
  • Integrate security scanning tools and consolidate toolchains
  • Define and enforce security promotion gates and exceptions
  • Troubleshoot findings and help developers remediate issues
  • Automate hardening, security validation, and compliance evidence collection
  • Build AWS GovCloud preventive and detective controls
  • Implement software supply-chain protections
  • Support classified and air-gapped software promotion
  • Lead threat modeling and security design reviews
  • Map technical controls to government security requirements
  • Establish secure development guidance and repeatable patterns
  • Participate in the security on-call rotation
