About the Role
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and bringing to market software products for financial services customers. You'll work in a small, high-performing, fast-moving team building intuitive, easy-to-use applications while maintaining world-class security architecture. You will find creative solutions to logical and visual challenges, working closely with Product and Design teams to deliver new software systems. You'll own features completely end-to-end, acting as a builder rather than just a developer, leveraging AI tools to accelerate your velocity while acting as the gatekeeper of high quality and security for mission-critical code.
Requirements
- 5+ years working as a Full Stack developer.
- Experience with NodeJS, React, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience building and scaling large-scale, distributed systems where data consistency, high availability, and performance under heavy load are hard requirements.
- A proven track record as a Builder who can take a feature from an abstract idea through implementation to production ownership.
- Experience integrating modern AI development tools into workflow to boost velocity, combined with rigorous engineering discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering practices including clean code, architectural design patterns, comprehensive testing, and rigorous code reviews.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in the full software development life cycle.
- Previous experience building digital asset custody solutions or working at a digital asset-focused financial service business is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, scale, and support digital asset custody and financial software systems for financial services customers.
- Work directly with product and business teams to iteratively deliver software to production.
- Solve highly challenging technical problems and untangle complex, deep-production bugs in large-scale environments.
- Influence the technical direction for the financial services business.
- Contribute to team roadmap discussions and planning.
- Interact with cross-functional partners from other Fireblocks Departments.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM), user management, data security, and product-specific security measures.
- Work in coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are effectively integrated into business processes.
- Work closely with the SecOps team and SOC to ensure required security logs and events are available.
