About the Role
Join BCB Group's growing engineering team to develop, test, release, support, and maintain complex financial platforms. The role involves Node.js, SQL, Angular, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, scalable product development, architectural decision-making, technical roadmap contributions, and mentoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems architecture
- Expert proficiency in server-side development
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queuing systems, ideally Google Pub/Sub or Kafka
- Experience with Node.js and server frameworks, ideally NestJS
- High-level expertise in SQL development and MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Good working knowledge of front-end frameworks, ideally Angular
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud
- Expertise in unit, integration, and system-level automated testing
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, ideally GitLab
- Fintech or banking experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Help build and scale products for clients
- Develop, test, release, support, and maintain complex financial platforms
- Collaborate with product managers on feature design and ship scalable products
- Own key architectural decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices
