About the Role

You will build and maintain production-grade Java backend services for marketing systems handling high volumes of real-time data. You will implement designs, write secure and maintainable code, participate in reviews and planning, troubleshoot defects, document software, support customers, and contribute to on-call operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong backend engineering experience with Java
  • Working knowledge of ReactJS
  • Understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code concepts
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency patterns
  • Some experience with event streaming technologies
  • Knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of backend architectures, design patterns, and distributed systems
  • Experience with testing concepts and SDLC best practices
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
