About the Role
You will build and maintain production-grade Java backend services for marketing systems handling high volumes of real-time data. You will implement designs, write secure and maintainable code, participate in reviews and planning, troubleshoot defects, document software, support customers, and contribute to on-call operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong backend engineering experience with Java
- Working knowledge of ReactJS
- Understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency patterns
- Some experience with event streaming technologies
- Knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of backend architectures, design patterns, and distributed systems
- Experience with testing concepts and SDLC best practices
- Experience working in an Agile environment
