About the Role
You develop and operate compliance-related back-office systems using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kafka, Redis, JPA, databases, and AWS. You design RESTful APIs and event-driven services, optimize transactions and performance, manage quality, and support monitoring and cloud operations.
Requirements
- At least three years of service development and operations experience using Spring Boot or Spring WebFlux with Java or Kotlin
- Experience using ORM tools such as JPA and QueryDSL and optimizing transactions and performance
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Experience documenting APIs with OpenAPI or Swagger
- Experience with asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message queues
- Experience using Redis or another in-memory data store for caching and performance improvement
- Experience with Git-based collaboration and software configuration management
- Experience designing or operating services in an MSA environment, or understanding of MSA
- Understanding of test-code development and quality management using tools such as JUnit and Mockito
- Understanding of compliance operations such as anti-money laundering, suspicious-transaction monitoring, and travel rules is preferred
- Understanding of blockchain, virtual assets, or exchanges is preferred
- Experience with high-volume traffic, incident response, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is preferred
- Frontend development experience with React.js is preferred
- Experience operating containerized services with Docker or Kubernetes is preferred
- Experience operating services in a cloud environment such as AWS is preferred
