About the Role
You will design and build core desktop-client infrastructure across build, distribution, observability, performance instrumentation, and shared abstractions. You will improve reliability and performance, evaluate architectural approaches, and create internal tooling that helps engineers release updates safely and quickly.
Requirements
- Experience with client infrastructure, including build systems, performance, distribution, or observability
- Experience building or contributing to high-performance desktop applications
- Knowledge of Electron or native desktop application development
- Knowledge of performance, reliability, developer experience, and systems design
Responsibilities
- Build shared client abstractions, build systems, and observability foundations
- Improve client reliability and performance by eliminating memory leaks, crashes, and frame-time inconsistencies
- Design instrumentation and telemetry for profiling, structured logging, and performance measurement
- Partner with product teams to increase release velocity
- Evaluate Electron and native approaches for critical code paths
- Build internal tooling for safe and rapid client releases
