About the Role
You will design and implement usage metering, pricing, credits, and billing dashboards. You will lead technical decisions across data pipelines, backend services, and web UX; translate pricing strategy into technical workflows; establish LLM-cost guardrails; and improve engineering quality through reviews and mentoring.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Platform and web-interface experience across frontend, APIs, and backend services
- Billing, payments, pricing, revenue-critical, or similarly auditable systems experience
- Technical-direction and cross-functional stakeholder-alignment ability
- Golang, Java, TypeScript, and SQL expertise is highly desirable
- Large language model, retrieval-augmented generation, agent, or cost-structure experience is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and implement usage metering, pricing logic, credits, and admin-facing billing dashboards
- Provide technical leadership across data pipelines, backend services, and web UX
- Drive consumption-pricing infrastructure with correctness, reliability, and debuggability
- Translate pricing strategy into technical designs and workflows with cross-functional stakeholders
- Define and maintain LLM and agent cost guardrails, including limits, anomaly detection, and margin monitoring
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring
