About the Role
You will design, build, launch, and operate backend and platform systems for agent governance. You will solve distributed-systems and security-sensitive problems, make governance decisions auditable, improve operational maturity, and partner across product, security, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related degree
- 6+ years building production backend, infrastructure, or cloud-native systems
- Coding skills in Go, Python, Java, C++, or a similar language
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, storage, asynchronous workflows, or control planes
- Knowledge of identity, authorization, tenancy, policy enforcement, auditability, and sensitive-data access
- Ability to reason about failure modes, system boundaries, invariants, and operational tradeoffs
- Technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Write design documents and make tradeoffs across security, reliability, performance, user experience, and cost
- Build well-tested backend services and platform components
- Solve distributed-systems problems involving consistency, idempotency, retries, ordering, migrations, and safe rollout
- Partner with Product, Security, Infrastructure, and customer-facing teams on scalable capabilities
- Make governance decisions auditable
- Improve monitoring, alerting, debugging, incident response, and operational maturity
- Mentor engineers and shape the platform roadmap
