About the Role

You build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with Node.js. You model data in MongoDB, use Redis for caching, queues, and rate limiting, and contribute clean, documented code to a microservices environment. You write unit and integration tests, review code, debug production issues, follow secure coding practices, collaborate with engineering and product partners, estimate and deliver tasks, integrate feedback, and improve the codebase while developing distributed systems and asynchronous communication skills.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of backend development experience
  • Hands-on experience building APIs with Node.js
  • Working experience with MongoDB
  • Working experience with Redis
  • Exposure to a microservices architecture
  • Fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Product thinking
  • Ability to understand user and business problems
  • Ability to break down ambiguous requirements
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs and propose practical solutions

Responsibilities
