About the Role
You will own the lifecycle of softgoods components from initial concept through mass production. You will design textiles, foams, and elastomers; validate safety and durability; create testing fixtures; improve manufacturability and yield; meet cost targets; and qualify materials and manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio showcasing professional, personal, and passion projects
Responsibilities
- Own softgoods components from concept through mass production
- Deliver tactile components that meet defined feel and finish standards
- Ensure safety and durability requirements are met through qualification and validation testing
- Own testing and fixtures
- Drive design for manufacturability and cost targets
- Qualify materials and manufacturing partners
