About the Role
You will build prototypes, samples, and fixtures to specification. You will perform cut-and-sew, bonding, lamination, and assembly work; prepare materials; maintain tools and equipment; document measurements and results; and work closely with engineers and designers.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience, including internships, vocational training, apprenticeships, or relevant personal projects
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Build prototypes, samples, and fixtures to specification
- Execute cut-and-sew, bonding, lamination, and assembly tasks
- Prepare materials and maintain shop tools and equipment
- Keep the prototyping space organized, safe, and production-ready
- Document measurements, process notes, and results
- Partner with engineers and designers and incorporate feedback
