StraitsX helps global fintechs and institutions build cross-border payment solutions using regulated stablecoins. Users can mint, redeem, and transfer stablecoins for multiple currencies, access programmable payment flows, and connect with banking partners across Southeast Asia. StraitsX operates under Major Payment Institution licenses from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

About the Role
You will deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based and on-premises production systems. You will document architecture and requirements, apply security best practices, ensure system availability and scalability, troubleshoot issues, and improve infrastructure processes. You will also automate provisioning, scaling, testing, and compliance checks, and handle on-call alerts and incident management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of engineering experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or a proven DevOps track record
- Experience managing cloud servers using AWS or GCP
- Experience with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, and OpenTelemetry is a plus
- Experience with on-premises physical servers, databases, and storage solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based and on-premises production systems
- Document new and existing architecture requirements
- Apply security best practices with information security and infrastructure stakeholders
- Ensure production system availability, performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and application issues
- Recommend architectural and process improvements
- Evaluate technologies to improve the infrastructure stack
- Remediate system security policies
- Implement automated server provisioning, scaling, testing, and compliance checks
- Handle on-call duties, alerts, and incident management
