Skeps is a microservices platform that embeds banking and financing services into merchant websites, retail stores, and one-to-one sales flows. It enables merchants to control lender networks, pricing, financing programs, reporting, and customer experiences for higher-value purchases across home improvement, retail, telecom, travel, health and wellness, automotive, and veterinary sectors. For financial institutions, Skeps provides configurable modules for credit eligibility, fraud and KYC/KYB workflows, digital cards, testing, loan origination, loan management, and multi-lender programs.

About the Role
You will design, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and/or AWS. You will coordinate production releases, maintain CI/CD pipelines and rollback paths, automate operations with Python and Bash, improve observability, troubleshoot incidents, document platform practices, and mentor engineers on platform usage.
Requirements
- Strong Python 3.x skills for infrastructure and operations automation
- Solid Bash skills on Linux
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS core services
- CI/CD expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Docker image hardening, registry workflows, and runtime troubleshooting
- Git proficiency, including branching strategies, code review workflows, and release tagging
- Observability experience with metrics, logs, and alerting
- Incident management experience, including on-call participation, root-cause analysis writing, and stakeholder communication
- Approximately 3–5+ years of infrastructure or development experience
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production deployments across environments
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, versioning, rollback paths, promotion flows, and release notes
- Design, implement, and maintain resilient cloud networks and services
- Right-size and harden cloud resources for security, cost, and performance
- Automate operational tasks with Python and Bash
- Improve metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts
- Manage Docker images and registries
- Administer build systems and enforce Git branch and release strategies
- Triage infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive fixes
- Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and how-to guides
- Mentor engineers on platform usage and best practices
