About the Role
You will build and operate scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure. You will improve monitoring, deployment automation, incident response, security, and reliability while partnering with engineers on reproducible model-training workflows.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience
- Bare-metal infrastructure expertise
- Distributed-systems expertise
- Production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and on-call experience
- Observability, alerting, and SLA knowledge
- CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes experience
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog knowledge
- Terraform or CloudFormation familiarity
- Python, Go, or Bash proficiency
- Networking, security, and system-administration knowledge
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Operate production systems and troubleshoot incidents
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident-response systems
- Develop CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and logging tools
- Participate in on-call rotations and perform root-cause analysis
- Improve infrastructure automation, deployment, and orchestration
- Enable safe and reproducible model-training experiments
- Build cloud-platform abstractions for science and engineering teams
- Ensure infrastructure follows security and compliance requirements
- Document processes and procedures
