About the Role
You will own the performance and reliability of robotic assembly systems at a customer site during scheduled overnight shifts. You will troubleshoot hardware and software anomalies, use diagnostic data to determine corrective actions, maintain reports, gather feedback, train customers, and support customer equipment needs.
Requirements
- Experience in an automation and robotics environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an associate degree with equivalent experience
- Automation, robotics, and PLC experience
- Understanding of recipe debugging
- Vision-system experience
- Technical documentation experience
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems
- Ability to follow electrical and mechanical drawings
Responsibilities
- Manage robotic assembly systems deployed to a customer site
- Interact with customers and manufacturing partners about equipment performance
- Collect customer feedback for continuous improvement and product-roadmap development
- Serve as the interface between remote technical experts, field service engineers, and customer production leads
- Assess hardware and software anomalies and determine corrective actions
- Maintain status reports
- Train customers on device operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Address customer concerns and issues
- Travel up to 10% for training
