About the Role

You keep rental properties in excellent condition by completing building and unit inspections, performing routine and preventive maintenance, servicing HVAC systems, handling service requests, and preparing vacant units for new move-ins. You inspect vendor work, use hand and power tools, remove trash, post legal notices, and work safely in physically demanding environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Associate degree from a technical college preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Two or more years of direct building maintenance experience strongly desired
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to manage schedules efficiently
• Ability to learn and use tracking scheduling and communication systems
• Ability to use mobile applications
• Ability to work independently
• Authorization to work in the United States without H-1B visa sponsorship
• Successful background investigation
• Ability to frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings units and homes
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance
• Ensure HVAC systems function properly
• Test HVAC components
• Complete internally managed service requests
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins
• Inspect work completed by outside vendors
• Remove and dispose of trash when needed
• Use hand and power tools
• Recognize unsafe situations and take appropriate safety action
• Post legal notices and property maps
