About the Role

You lead compute blade and rack system validation across the program lifecycle. You drive first-silicon and system bring-up, develop validation methodologies and debug tools, define and execute test plans, triage issues, improve laboratory capabilities, and coordinate hardware, firmware, software, and system validation activities.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in validation roles involving first silicon and system bring-up, operating systems, firmware, silicon, and hardware
  • Understanding of PCIe and CXL and their software stacks
  • Experience enabling storage and networking capabilities in laboratory environments
  • Strong knowledge of ARM CPU or x86 architecture, SoC design, memory, RAS, and power management
  • Extensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debugging, and validation strategy
  • Experience with platform-level debugging, operating systems, device drivers, and system BIOS interactions
  • Deep experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, and other hypervisors
  • Experience in technical program management
  • 14+ years of work experience validating and debugging hardware, firmware, and software challenges
  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead system enablement including first silicon and firmware integration
  • Drive firmware integration methodology and best-known hardware, firmware, and software configurations
  • Develop laboratory hardware, system software capabilities, visibility, and debug tools
  • Triage issues during server rack validation, post-silicon validation, and production phases
  • Develop and own test plans
  • Lead test case development and execution for CPU, GPU, memory, HBM, and I/O domains
  • Drive tool, script, technical, and procedural improvements across system validation
  • Coordinate validation activities with system architects, SoC teams, rack firmware teams, and ODM partners
