About the Role

Own and improve workforce governance, employment compliance, regulatory risk programs, controls, audits, and compliance operations across the People organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in workforce, employment, or HR compliance operations
  • Direct ownership of I-9/E-Verify, background screening, or drug testing programs
  • Knowledge of FCRA, E-Verify regulations, FLSA classification, and employment law
  • Experience managing compliance programs in multi-state environments
  • Hands-on audit experience
  • Knowledge of contingent workforce compliance and worker classification risks
  • Experience managing compliance vendors
  • Knowledge of CCPA, GDPR, and state-level employee data privacy laws
  • Familiarity with AI governance in HR contexts
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with Legal

Responsibilities

  • Maintain worker classification standards and decision frameworks
  • Conduct workforce classification audits and drive remediation
  • Own the I-9 and E-Verify program
  • Manage background screening and adverse action governance
  • Administer drug and alcohol testing programs
  • Monitor contractual workforce compliance obligations
  • Coordinate employment compliance filings
  • Monitor employment law developments and translate changes into workflows
  • Maintain leave law compliance frameworks
  • Support pay equity, wage and hour, and compensation compliance governance
  • Maintain employee data privacy and records governance standards
  • Establish responsible AI governance standards for People programs
  • Manage audit readiness and the People compliance risk register
  • Configure compliance workflows, approvals, and controls in People systems
