About the Role
You will evolve the product’s visual language, components, and patterns within the Design Systems team. You will refine visual details, lead UI initiatives, create concepts and prototypes, explain design decisions, balance aesthetics with usability and accessibility, and champion high standards of visual craft.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in visual, graphic, or UI design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital product design expertise
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or Figma
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks is a plus
- Experience with motion design and prototyping tools is preferred
- Experience working with design systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Familiarity with accessibility auditing tools and processes is a plus
Responsibilities
- Evolve the visual language, components, and patterns
- Refine the colour palette, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Identify opportunities for thoughtful UI improvements across the app
- Lead UI-focused initiatives
- Create visual concepts and prototypes
- Build narratives around design decisions
- Balance aesthetic excellence with usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility
- Champion high standards of visual craft through reviews, feedback, and collaboration
