About the Role
You will represent the company with APAC regulators and auditors, ensure technology processes meet regulatory requirements, coordinate business-continuity testing and incident exercises, research regulations, implement security requirements, and prepare monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Understanding of APAC technical and security regulations and laws
- Experience in a regulatory role in financial services or a technical environment
- Hands-on engineering experience and ability to understand complex financial products and services
- Analytical and research skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cross-team projects
- 8–10 years of relevant experience as a technology auditor, advisor, or cybersecurity professional in a fintech, bank, or financial institution
- Experience leading, growing, or mentoring technology or security regulatory teams
Responsibilities
- Represent the company in technology and cybersecurity discussions with APAC regulators
- Manage regulator and auditor requests and support audit cycles and certifications
- Ensure technology processes comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate technology risks
- Represent the company in cybersecurity discussions with regulators and customers
- Coordinate business-continuity testing, drills, and incident-management exercises
- Adopt required technology and security procedures and directives
- Research regulatory requirements and guide global teams, executives, and board members
- Implement security and technology requirements for additional APAC licenses
- Prepare technology and security monitoring reports
