About the Role
You will lead regional physical and data-center security across APAC. You will oversee security standards, providers, risk assessments, incident response, construction security, audits, remediation, and reporting. You will coordinate with operational and technical stakeholders and drive consistent security processes across sites and countries.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in physical security, corporate security, data-center security, critical infrastructure, or a related field
- Experience leading security programs across multiple sites or countries
- Experience managing security vendors, contract security personnel, and service providers
- Experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, security operations, and physical security technology
- Understanding of security risk assessment, incident management, and security standards
- Ability to travel regularly across APAC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the physical security program across APAC
- Serve as the regional contact for data-center and corporate security
- Report regional security posture, risks, incidents, and remediation
- Oversee security at data centers and colocation facilities
- Assess access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, guard services, and incident response
- Implement security requirements for construction and expansion projects
- Conduct risk assessments, design reviews, site inspections, and commissioning activities
- Establish regional incident response and escalation procedures
- Coordinate incident response with security providers and SOC or GSOC teams
- Conduct security assessments, identify control gaps, and drive remediation
- Implement global security policies, standards, and technical requirements
- Improve security technology, processes, procedures, and vendor performance
