About the Role

You will lead on-truck bring-up and integration for compute platforms, sensors, networking, and vehicle interfaces. You will own software-release integration, investigate cross-domain issues, build validation environments and automation tooling, influence design decisions, and mentor engineers through documented integration practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline; master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of hardware and software systems integration experience
  • Experience bringing up embedded Linux compute platforms
  • Python and C++ skills
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, CI/CD, and automated test frameworks
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, CAN, PTP, DDS, and ROS 2
  • Experience leading root-cause investigations
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading technical work
  • Ability to work in vehicles and lab environments with occasional travel

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-truck bring-up and integration of compute platforms, sensors, networking, and vehicle interfaces
  • Own software-release integration onto target hardware and define acceptance criteria
  • Drive root-cause investigations across hardware, firmware, operating systems, middleware, and applications
  • Design and evolve hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and on-vehicle validation environments
  • Architect automation frameworks, diagnostic tooling, and integration processes
  • Define system-level test strategies for platform variants
  • Represent integration in cross-functional design reviews
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
  • Author bring-up procedures, troubleshooting guides, and reference documentation
