About the Role
Own day-to-day identity and access management operations, including Okta user lifecycle management, application onboarding, Lumos governance, SaaS administration, access automation, access reviews, security feature administration, troubleshooting, integrations, training, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, IT Operations, or Identity and Access Management
- Hands-on Okta administration experience
- Experience with identity governance platforms such as Lumos or Okta Identity Governance
- Experience managing user lifecycle automation
- Familiarity with Okta FastPass MFA and device trust
- Familiarity with SCIM provisioning and custom SCIM solutions
- Working knowledge of Okta Workflows and no-code or low-code automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills with authentication issues and REST APIs
- Experience using Python or PowerShell for bulk operations
- Experience supporting Google Workspace and Slack
- Experience with OIDC or SAML application integrations
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience preferred
- Okta Administrator or Consultant certification preferred
- Clear communication skills and comfort partnering cross-functionally
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end user lifecycle management in Okta, including onboarding, offboarding, hires, rehires, and contractor conversions
- Manage sensitive offboarding scenarios across Slack, Google Workspace, and other platforms
- Administer SaaS applications, provisioning, RBAC, and automated license reclamation
- Build access request workflows and approval automations
- Execute periodic access reviews and entitlement certifications
- Administer Okta FastPass MFA and device trust
- Build application provisioning and IAM task automations using Okta Workflows and custom SCIM solutions
- Train Service Desk team members on security policies, IAM best practices, and system changes
- Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for access, authentication, and integration issues
- Partner with the API team on custom automations
- Troubleshoot authentication failures, API errors, and access-related incidents
- Document SOPs and runbooks
