About the Role
Design, deploy, manage, and maintain storage infrastructure in Bengaluru, including performance monitoring, capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery, troubleshooting, documentation, upgrades, migrations, and automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Linux systems administration focused on storage
- Ceph experience
- Enterprise storage systems experience
- RAID, LVM, NFS, iSCSI, multipathing, ext4, XFS, and ZFS
- Clustering technologies
- Shell scripting
- Python
- Puppet or Ansible
- VMware or KVM
- AWS S3 and EBS
- Nagios, Prometheus, or Zabbix
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy SAN and object storage infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain storage systems
- Perform capacity planning and forecasting
- Implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
- Troubleshoot storage system issues
- Maintain configuration and procedure documentation
- Collaborate on system upgrades, migrations, and integrations
- Automate storage provisioning and management
