About the Role
You will improve supplier and contract-manufacturer quality, capacity, process capability, and production execution. You will support suppliers onboarding new designs, apply wire-harness and FPC/FFC production knowledge, use PPAP and structured problem-solving methods, manage industrialization projects, and travel internationally to engage suppliers.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience leading new-product industrialization and project management
- Knowledge of wire harness and FPC/FFC assembly processes
- Experience with PPAP, RCCA, fishbone analysis, process mapping, and 5S
- Experience improving supplier or contract-manufacturer quality, process capability, capacity, or production execution
- Ability to travel internationally up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Improve supplier and contract-manufacturer quality, capability, capacity, and production execution
- Support supplier onboarding for new designs
- Lead new-product industrialization and project management across engineering teams and contract manufacturers
- Apply wire harness and FPC/FFC assembly processes and production design rules
- Use PPAP, RCCA, fishbone analysis, process mapping, and 5S to solve supplier challenges
- Travel internationally to engage suppliers
