About the Role
You will set long-term architecture across query observability, warehouse management, and account-level governance. You will lead projects that improve performance, reliability, and cost transparency; build agentic telemetry experiences; align partner teams; mentor engineers; and strengthen operational practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, observability or governance platforms, databases, or backend infrastructure
- Technical leadership experience in complex multi-stakeholder environments
- Computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and systems design
- Experience with observability and telemetry pipelines, query engines, distributed tracing, metrics, time-series storage, data governance, or large-scale logging
- Cross-functional communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building agentic experiences using LLMs preferred
Responsibilities
- Establish technical direction and multi-year architecture for observability, warehouse management, and governance
- Design and lead projects that improve performance, reliability, and cost transparency
- Build agentic observability and governance experiences using telemetry
- Integrate visibility and governance across data-plane and control-plane systems
- Mentor senior engineers, set technical standards, and recruit talent
- Champion reliable software and operational practices
