About the Role
You will own commerce services across web and mobile, including billing, subscriptions, payments, metering, entitlements, fraud prevention, and reconciliation. You will evolve the billing architecture, improve revenue recovery, build internal tools, and provide technical input on monetization decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Experience building payments, financial infrastructure, distributed systems, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of failure modes
- Strong product sense and technical depth
- High standards for correctness
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Eligibility to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Own the commerce platform across web and mobile
- Build and evolve subscription and entitlement management
- Own payment methods and payment processing
- Manage involuntary churn recovery and fraud prevention
- Build accounting and reconciliation systems
- Lead the evolution of the billing architecture
- Participate in monetization product and strategy discussions
- Build tools and interfaces for product development and analysis
