About the Role
You will take end-to-end ownership of parts of the Songkick product across backend, mobile, data pipelines, and notifications. You will integrate Songkick with Suno, assess and modernize the codebase, build data aggregation systems, and design APIs for mobile clients.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience
- Startup experience
- Strong API design skills
- Experience working with iOS, Android, or other mobile teams
- Experience with agentic coding workflows and end-to-end testing harnesses
- Strong written and stakeholder communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the US
- SQL experience
- NoSQL experience
- Data modeling
- System architecture
Responsibilities
- Own Songkick product areas across backend, mobile, data pipelines, and notifications
- Lead the technical integration of Songkick into Suno
- Architect and maintain touring and event data aggregation systems
- Assess the codebase and decide what to preserve, modernize, or retire
- Design APIs for mobile clients
- Improve live-music discovery and experiences
