About the Role
You will set the technical direction for developer infrastructure across build, test, backend, and mobile platforms. You will evolve Bazel and remote execution systems, scale CI/CD, improve test environments, establish platform standards, and drive AI-enabled software development lifecycle initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience at Senior Staff, Principal, or Distinguished Engineer level
- Expertise with Bazel and large-scale monorepo build systems
- Experience operating remote build execution infrastructure
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines at massive scale
- Fluency in Go or Python
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Swift, or Android development environments
- Background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with test infrastructure or development environment platforms
- Experience or interest in agentic AI systems and automated code review
- Technical leadership, communication, and influence skills
- Experience mentoring senior engineers
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and roadmap for Developer Infrastructure
- Lead Bazel-based monorepo build infrastructure and remote build execution
- Scale CI/CD pipelines and test execution infrastructure
- Drive test infrastructure and development environment strategy
- Integrate AI and agentic systems into the software development lifecycle
- Set standards for language runtimes, libraries, IDE tooling, and developer environment security
- Partner with engineering leadership on the long-term infrastructure roadmap
