About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain C++ software for imaging devices on Linux. You will implement image-processing algorithms, optimize real-time acquisition, processing, and visualization, and integrate software with imaging hardware. You will profile performance, build automated tests, debug hardware-software interfaces, and prototype imaging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field
- Strong C++ and Python proficiency
- Experience with image-processing libraries such as OpenCV, VTK, or ITK
- Experience with industrial cameras, OCT, and stereo vision systems
- Linux system programming and real-time performance optimization skills
- GPU programming experience with CUDA or OpenCL
- 5+ years of C++ imaging-system software development experience
- Experience with high-bandwidth image streams, multithreading, multiprocessing, and low-latency communication
- Knowledge of image-processing algorithms, image compression, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration
- Familiarity with UML or SysML and Git, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub
- Ability to work on-site for hands-on software-hardware integration
