About the Role
You will build and own the compute, orchestration, and infrastructure layer across a multi-region GCP footprint. You will establish platform patterns, make foundational architectural decisions, and build reliable distributed systems, Kubernetes infrastructure, cloud services, automation, and observability.
Requirements
- 7+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering
- Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience, including control-plane configuration, operators or controllers, scheduler tuning, and runtime debugging
- Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
- Strong GCP or AWS cloud compute background
- Proficiency in Docker and container runtime internals
- Advanced Terraform experience
- Node.js, TypeScript, or Go experience for platform tooling and automation
- Experience with observability tooling, Linux internals, networking, and storage systems
